Lindsey's Top Ten Dog Collar list

10. Flea Collar? Does your dog have fleas? A flea collar may help cut down on this problem. They are really cheap and come in a variety of colors!

9. Bark Collar Barking dogs breaking city noise ordinances? Put an electric collar on your dog to prevent them from barking. A bark sense a small, uncomfortable shock to the dog, reinforcing them to stay quiet.

8. Bell Dog Collar Having trouble finding your little dog inside your house? Listen up! Get a collar with little bells on it, so when the dog walks you'll her it. You can make these yourself too and they go great on both sexes.

7. Blaze Orange Collar Got a big brown dog that could be mistaken for a deer? Put a "hunter's orange" collar on it and you don't have to worry about a hunter shooting it on accident. It's also very noticable to cars!

6. Chain Dog Collars Instead of using a nylon strap, try a loose chain. It looks more like jewelry than a strap and looks great on both sexes! These are often cheap too.

5. Spiked Dog Collars These are the traditional dog collars. They are simple yet flashy because the spikes are shiny. These are typically for big male dogs, but would work on just about any dog. Sometimes people have been known to wear these too!

4. LED Dog Collars Like belt buckles for humans, a buckle could be placed on your dogs collar and programmed to say whatever you want! Put it's name and address on it for safety. The only problem would be keeping fresh batteries in it.

3. Rhinestone Dog Collar Who doesn't like rhinestones? The best thing about these little jewels is that if you want your dog to look "country" either sex can wear these. You can use a Bedazzler machine to make these yourself if you want!

2. Camo Dog Collar Unlike the pink collar, camo collars give your done a masculine look. Not to say that a female can't wear one, but a camo collar makes your pet look like the strong hunter that he is. A big dog would look best in a camo collar because big dogs are intimidating!

1. Pink Dog Collars Pink dog collars add a sassy feminine look to any dog. Everyone will know what sex your dog is. A pink collar looks especially good on a tiny dog that can fit in your purse!
